We provide Contact Point Verification (CPV) and Investigation services for RCU/FCU teams, focusing on verifying the addresses and telephone numbers of applicants, guarantors, and references. We conduct neighborhood checks and discreet investigations as necessary. Our Address Verification Service (AVS) is a secure solution designed to prevent fraud. It verifies the cardholder’s address by comparing the information provided by the user with the bank’s records. However, it only partially identifies the cardholder. The verification process is typically carried out during card authorization, often through telephone authorization for the cardholder. Once the address verification is completed, the response is sent to the banks using specific codes that indicate the level of match between the provided billing address and the bank’s stored data.
